• Todd Miller, M.D.

What draws Dr. Miller specifically to Facial Plastic Surgery is being able to provide patients with a unique skill set involving the head and neck. He has performed a vast number of facial cosmetic procedures. He has authored articles for national publications and made numerous presentations at national and regional meetings. He is a board certified member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his family when he is not combining his cosmetic practice in Southern California with his head and neck surgery practice in the Midwest.

• Erin Alonso, R.N.P., M.S.N., F.N.P.

Erin Alonso has been delivering aesthetic beauty treatments for the last 12 years. She has a passion for using multiple modalities to help anyone acquire their best look. She has vast knowledge in fillers, neurotoxins, lasers, radio frequency, ultrasound and nutrition. She has trained for Allergan, Medicis, Bioform, Suneva, and McGhan. Her interest lay in creating beauty from the inside out. She has a passion for people and touching their lives by helping them feel great about looking great. Erin received her BSN at NewMexico State University and received her MSN and FNP at Long Beach State University. She is currently working on her PhD in anti aging medicine. Erin has been a pioneer in finding new and exciting modalities and bringing them to you. In her spare time she does cat rescue, plays racquetball, and loves on her three elementary aged children, 4 cats and dog named Stewie with her husband Alex.

• Kimberly Cowley, R.N.

Kimberly Cowley is an Aesthetic Nurse Specialist here at DermFx. She graduated from Denver School of Nursing in Colorado and is currently in school to become a Nurse Practitioner. Kimberly is dedicated to making patients feel comfortable and beautiful in their own skin. Being a Registered Nurse, Licensed Esthetician and having nearly six years experience as a makeup artist has been a well-rounded combination in the beautiful world of Aesthetics. She has an eye for perfection along with a gentle touch which has been a success for Kimberly.

• Elizabeth Sommers, R.N.

Elizabeth Sommers graduated from nursing school in 2004. She has always had a passion for skin care and has followed her heart into the aesthetic field. Elizabeth has set out to understand each beauty issue she, or one of the many women in her life have struggled with. It has lead to great relationships with her clients, as she really understands anti-aging, and beauty enhancing techniques. She has an ability to listen to your concerns, and select the best treatment option for your skin. Her favorite procedure's include filler, BOTOX, and resurfacing lasers. Elizabeth is very artistic and has an ability to help the client set, reach, and maintain their goals. She would love to meet you and adopt you into her family of life long clients.

• Maheshni Karunasena, Physician Assistant

Maheshni has been practicing medicine for eighteen years, specializing in Aesthetics, Cosmetic Surgery, and Emergency Medicine. She has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Californina at Irvine, Physician Assistant Degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, and was Nationally Board Certfied in Surgery and Medicine in 1994. Maheshni brings her enthusiasm for patient care, helping people in becoming their best inner and outer self, and continual advancement in all aspects of Aesthetic cuttinng edge technology.

• Susie Cody, R.N.

Susie started nursing (her second career) at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center before deciding to get involved in aesthetics. Over the last 10 years she has worked in a variety of prestigious aesthetic medical establishments in Newport Beach. She has taken formal training and is certified in fillers, Botox, Dysport, tattoo removal, sclerotherapy, laser vein removal, laser hair removal, laser facial aesthetics and more. When Susie isn’t working at DermFx you can find her at the martial arts studio either teaching or working towards her fourth degree black belt.

• Teri Dingman

Teri Dingman, is a Patient Consultant and also manages the sales and marketing department. She has been with DermFx since it’s inception, over 10 years. She is extremely knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest technology, surgical and otherwise, that DermFx has to offer. Her high energy and love for people makes her an invaluable part of the DermFx team and a genuine asset to our patients as well. • Inger Jensen

Inger Jensen is a Patient Consultant and part of the sales and marketing team. She comes from a business background although she spent many years coordinating still photography and video shoots nationally and internationally. • Laura Driscoll

Laura joined the DermFx team in July 2004. Her Passion for the aesthetics industry is what lead her to become a Patient Consultant. She finds the most rewarding part of her job to be interacting with patients, helping them to find the products and services that best meet their needs. She says, “I love helping people feel better about themselves.” She enjoys spending her spare time with her family, traveling, and playing tennis.

• Martha Hein

Martha began her career at DermFx as a patient consultant. Her experience in the cosmetic surgery field led her to DermFx to follow her passion for aesthetics. With over five years of experience in the beauty industry she still strives to understand patient needs and beauty goals. Her goal is to always make patients feel welcome and that they are part of the DermFx family! Martha likes to spend her spare time with her family and dogs, reading, Missions trips, fund raising and crafting.

• Shauna Kelley

Shauna looks at skincare as doctors look at helping people with good health. Shauna has been practicing as a Medical Aesthetician since 2003 and recently became a CA Certified Medical Assistant. Shauna is passionate about the science of skin care and devotes her practice to the beauty, health, and wellness industry. As a Medical Aesthetician/Medical Assistant Shauna performs: skin analysis, consultations, chemical peels, microdermabrasions, make up applications, Velashape, and vitamin injections.

• Jaselle Medellin, M.A.

Jaselle became a medical assistant in 2010. Although new to the aesthetic field, she has really come to love it and hopes to further her education and start a nursing program very soon. When she is not working at DermFx she enjoys spending her spare time with family and her dogs.

• Britney Nicosia

Britney Nicosia is a Certified Medical Assistant she has been with DermFx for over 2 years.she works very closely with patients and assisting the nurses.she also assist Dr. miller in surgery.along with being highly knowledgable with skincare,wellness and a varity of different lasers and injectables. Britney is currently balancing her full time work and school schedule in furthering her medical education of becoming an ultrasound technician and furthering her skills with DermFx.

• Shannon Alexander

Shannon Alexander has been with DermFx since 2004, affording her the chance to see first hand the advancements in laser technology and growth in the business. There have been many exciting changes and she looks forward to seeing more. Shannon likes to say that she has shared most of her "major" life experiences with DermFx, its staff and clients. She became a wife, graduated from UCI in 2007, with a degree in Environmental Analysis and Design and became a mother all while enjoying her time here.

• Gennifer Roe

Gennifer Roe started her career in the cosmetic field with DermFx in 2005. As a Patient Coordinator, she works very closely with patients and assisting the nurses. Along with being knowledgeable in a variety of lasers and injectables. She offers a warm and welcoming environment for our patients. Gennifer is currently in the process of furthering her education with the hopes of starting the nursing program in the near future.

• Jana Perry

Jana Perry began working at DermFx as the Operations Manager in February 2008. She brings with her an extensive history of medical management and operation management in the field of cosmetic and plastic surgeries. As operations manager she efficiently coordinates and organizes office staff, schedules and oversees the day to day operations of DermFx. As a Southern California native she enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her husband and her golden retriever “Sky”.

• Debra Martin

Debra Martin joined the DermFx Team in 2011 and is the Assistant Manager. Debra graduated with her bachelors from Pepperdine University, with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Speech Communication. Debra brings a wealth of knowledge from her background in Public Relations, Marketing and Sales. Debra has a love for aesthetics and you will instantly feel her passion as well. She thoroughly enjoys her relationships that are built with our patients. She enjoys spending her spare time with her family, wine tasting and traveling.
